Targe09-05The scenery was put together by Angus Konstam and Dougie Trail and the figures came from their collections, and that of Chris Henry. Bill Gilchrist and Colin Jack did much of the work involved in running several games throughout the course of the day. Congratulations to them all.

Claymore is Moving

After many years at Meadowbank Stadium Claymore is moving and Claymore 2009 will be held on Saturday 1st August, 2009, in a new venue at Edinburgh’s Telford College, located to the north of the city down near the Firth of Forth.

At SESWC we  are all very much looking forward to this move.  The space available at Telford  is slightly bigger that at Meadowbank, the venue is much airier (there’s actually some space above your head) and it has better catering facilities, including an on-site bar.

The move will allow us to alter the format of the show slightly and we are following up on some exciting new ideas.

Watch this space for details.
