I'm thinking that, with a little bit of re-basing to give me some individual leaders and heavy weapons, I'll be able to use my existing AK47 figures. That would give me several forces.

I have a squad each of British (inc SAS), Insurgents, Chinese and US plus an Abrams, Jeep, Tunguska and Challenger II in 28 mm. Will maybe add a squad or two of Russians and Chechyens for modern skirmishy type stuff.
Cheers
Dax

If you want cheap you should forget those Battlefield Evolution pre-paints and get into 15s.

Hi Hodgie,
I'm paying an average of 20p a figure and £2 per vehicle for this stuff - I cant get unpainted plastics for that! Very much cheapness and they look no too bad. Gets me plenty of toys, costs me next to bugger all and allows me to concentrate on playing games at the weekends, making buildings and scratch building terrain for a while - all good in my book!
Any ways, most of the modern 15s look like bloody hobbits

28mm buildings for urban combat, won't do for the Middle East but could be used for Europe/America/Former Soviet Republics:
