JP and Jim Conk have both discovered this to their error when they came up against my Greek Hoplites, especially the Spartans. :twisted:

Looking at the stats for the Spartans, it looks like a fairly even fight between legionaries and hoplites, especially with the initiative advantage for pike units - which is historically accurate as a head on confrontation with phalanx was not he most effective strategy for any unit in the ancient world! If we are dicing for terrain, I'll be hoping for plenty of obstacles!
