Hi chaps,
I have been talking to Lorenzo about holding a few more tournaments up here in Scotland, given how well the bash went last week thought it might be an idea to build up a Scottish circuit for Impetus.
two things came from the conversation, one was for a couple of Scottish tournament games before the end of the year (a biathlon if you like) shared with our compadres in Falkirk - only needs 8 players and probably held over a couple of Sundays in november/december when things are a bit quieter.
Second is to develop a four stage Scottish tournament circuit, starting next year - we might be able to do two in Edinburgh, two in Grangemeouth, but might be better to change the location or link in with other events like Skelp etc.
If you are interested or have any thoughts on the subject, can you let me know? No point setting these games up if there isn't enough demand for them - on the plus side, they would be pretty cheap to attend, around £2 to £5 each.

You will have to count me out as I don't have enough holidays to do any this year and probably none next year.

Dax,

I'd be up for this: though would prefer, if possible, a Saturday rather than a Sunday event.

Cheers,

John.

Hi Jack, it is a pity you cant join us, although for me it was more a hope than an expectatin seeing as it is tough enough for us to get a game together at the club these days leet alone seeing you at weekends.
Cheers any ways

Cheers John, Saturdays are fine if this is easier/preferred. Weekends are much easier for me than weekdays so I personnally have no preference.
I think the Falkirkians are up for it as well - as some of them are missing regular competition play - with myself and Justin pretty much definite (we usually have a house game on Saturday anyways) I would doubt we will have much difficulty in making the minimum requirement of eight players
The key will be in giving everybody plenty of notice and arranging dates around our availability. Given how much fun the last bash was, I am looking forward to having a few more :drunk:

Hi Dax

Thank you kindly for the invitation, and whilst I thought Whitburn was a great success, it did rather confirm for me that I am not really into competitive wargaming outside the club. I wish you and indeed all Seswcrs great success in these ventures, but I'll probably pass for the moment.

On the other hand, I stand ready to put Daxians to the sword everywhere :D :D :D ; (and destroy images of Brian Cox wherever they are found)

Yours aye
Nogfinn
