Quick query,
maybe I am reading the rules incorrectly, but if you spend the points for a unit leader, do you get an extra hit in melee?

As long as your leader is in hand to hand combat he does give you an extra attack in melee.

Not last week, as I added the leader's extra attack in all our combats (if only you could have a unit of leaders )

It wouldn't surprise me if someone did have a unit completely made up of characters for WAB
I was just thinking, 5 points is pretty cheap for an extra hit if you have a decent unit, so will be bearing it in mind when building the troops up.
Still flying with L plates, but it seems to me increasingly important that you max your army's potential in WAB, once you have picked your preference. It's going to take quite a while for me to get the balance right, especially with the tweaks in WAB 2, was only just getting used to WAB 1.5!
